It is the policy of A & J Scott to conduct all of our activities with full consideration to their environmental implications in both the short and long term.

In implementing this policy, A & J Scott hope to promote measures for the protection of the environment for all who may be affected directly or indirectly by our activities and actions.

It is our policy that:

• We only use timber from managed forests that operate programmes of replanting and renewal.

• All potential risks of new projects are assessed so that effective processes and control measures can be implemented.

• Where possible we will strive to use the best technology and processes available to prevent pollution from our activities.

• Our processes are designed to minimise waste, and waste materials are recycled wherever possible.

• Communications with the public and other concerned parties are true and unambiguous, with no suppression of information on environmental issues.
