New appointments strengthen AJS servicePosted: 7th November 2017
A&J Scott have been pleased to welcome 2 new members to our team recently as we build on the growth in production capacity following the mill upgrade and installation programmes.
The two appointments to the sales team will strengthen the company’s customer service as we dispatch record volumes of sawn timber to our valued loyal customers.
As we gear up for further growth following the major updgrades to our main production mill (Mill 7) over the last 2 years and the recent completion of our new bandmill (Mill 9), we are delighted that David White and Keith Bell have joined the business.
David White, right, joins us as Sales & Business Development Manager. With a long background in sawmilling and the timber trade, David will look after customer accounts and also focus on new product development as our capacity grows over the years ahead.
Keith Bell, pictured left, also joins our Sales & Customer Service team. With an army background and more recent experience in customer service and logistics, Keith will strengthen our customer service activities, becoming a key liaison between customers, transport and our production department as we seek to build on the standards of service that we and our customers value so highly.
Robert Scott, Managing Director, said, "We're delighted to welcome 2 people of the calibre of Keith and David to our team. We have enjoyed tremendous growth in our sales of treated railway sleepers and fencing products on the back of our investment programme, and it is important that we develop a team to match. I'm looking forward to working with David and Keith and I'm sure they'll be key players in building on our record of producing quality products with high standards of service for our valued customers across the country".
